The cave spa of Miskolctapolca and its medicinal thermal waters are situated at the foot of the Bükk Hills. Set in a natural cave-system, its baths are a true rarity. The waters of the thermal, lake and cave baths, as well as the tub baths, are at 31 degrees Centigrade and contain calcium, magnesium-hydrogen-carbonate, and traces of metaboric acid, metasilicic acid, iodine, bromine and radon. The water is suited to the treatment of cardiac and angiopathic complaints, and blood pressure and circulation disorders.
